Loyalty Program
Loyalty Program Management designs points-based rewards across two tabs — Manage Programs and Create Program — with an auto-calculated reward rate.

Overview
Set how much spend earns how many points, what a point is worth, and when points expire, then activate and track membership.
Tabs in detail
Manage Programs
- Program cards: name, status (Active/Inactive), description, reward rate %, member count, points expiration.
- Actions: Edit (modal with live reward-rate calc), Activate/Deactivate (controls enrollment), Delete (confirm with member count), View Members.
- Edit validates that spend, points, and point value are all greater than zero.
Create Program
- Fields: Program Name (required), Description, Spend ($), Points Earned, Value ($) per point, Expiration (6 months / 1 year / 2 years / Never).
- Live reward rate display = (points × point value) ÷ spend × 100.
- Create Program (blocked if name empty or any numeric ≤ 0); Reset.
Step by step: create a loyalty program
- Open Create Program; enter a name and description.
- Set Spend, Points Earned, and Value.
- Choose an Expiration, then Create Program (watch the reward rate).
Tips & best practices
- A 5–10% reward rate is typical and profitable; 15%+ is generous.
- Set a 1-year expiration to encourage redemption and limit liability.
- Deactivate old programs instead of deleting to preserve member history.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| "Invalid values" on save | Spend, Points Earned, and Point Value must all be greater than zero |
| Can't edit a program | Refresh so program data loads, then retry |
| Member count is 0 | Correct until customers enroll — enroll them in Growth → Customers |
