Services

The Services Catalog defines the services you offer — repairs, installs, consultations — each with flexible pricing, a duration, and a type. It has three tabs: Services Catalog, Add Service, and Service Types.

Services Catalog

Overview

Browse services in List or Grid view with real assignment (job) counts per service, create new services, and manage the service types used to categorize them.

Tabs in detail

Services Catalog

  • Search by name, description, or type.
  • Filters: Status (Active / Inactive), Type, Base Price range, Hourly Rate range.
  • Views: List (table) and Grid (cards).
  • Columns / card fields: name, type badge, description, base price, hourly rate, duration (min), status, jobs count, last updated.

Add Service

  • Fields: Service Name (required), Description (required), Service Type (dropdown), Base Price, Hourly Rate, Estimated Duration (minutes), Active Service toggle.
  • Use Base Price for flat-rate work and Hourly Rate for time-based labor (you can set either or both).
  • On save you return to the Services Catalog.

Service Types

  • Create a type: Name (required), Description, Sort Order, Active toggle.
  • Manage existing types in a table (Name, Description, Sort Order, Active) with inline Edit, Enable/Disable, and Delete.
  • Types populate the Service Type dropdown on Add/Edit Service and the Type filter.

Step by step: create a service

  1. (Optional) On Service Types, add the categories you use.
  2. Open Add Service; enter Name, Description, and a Type.
  3. Set Base Price and/or Hourly Rate and a Duration.
  4. Click Create Service.

Tips & best practices

  • Create your Service Types first so new services slot into the right category.
  • Duplicate a similar service to add variants quickly (e.g. "Repair – Window" → "Repair – Door").
  • Use the jobs count to spot your most- and least-used services.
