Profile Setup
Purpose
Set foundational configuration so later features work without errors. Completing profile, locations, time zone, and tax ensures sales totals, schedules, inventory movements, and reports are accurate. You can edit anything later.
How to use this page
- In the app, open: Onboarding → Profile Setup (route:
/onboarding). - Work through steps in order; save at each section.
- If you already have data, the form loads existing values so you can review and update.
Steps
1) Industry Presetting
Choose the industry preset closest to your business. This sets sensible defaults like a starting tax rate and form options. You can change details later.
2) Profile & Organization
- User Profile: name, email, phone.
- Organization: business name, type, description, logo, contact info, business address.
- Time Zone: sets scheduling and reporting baselines.
When finished, save your profile and organization.

3) Location & Tax Setup
- Location(s): name, type (e.g., Store), address, operating hours, email/phone. Create at least one primary location.
- Tax Profile: default profile and rules (name, display name, rate). If you selected an industry preset, we prefill a sensible default—adjust if needed.
After saving, your sales pages use the selected tax profile and time zone. Schedule uses your location(s) and hours to plan work.
